I’m Nathan, the owner and operator of 9-1-1 Pressure Washing Co. After spending 16 years serving my country and community — in the U.S. Navy, as a firefighter with the Durham Fire Department, and as a Deputy with the Wake County Sheriff’s Office — I took a leap of faith.

In 2023, after being unexpectedly laid off from a corporate job, I decided it was time to build something of my own — something rooted in purpose, hard work, and service. That’s when 9-1-1 Pressure Washing Co. (K & N Services then) was born.

Our name is no accident. “Nine-One-One” reflects more than just the urgency and professionalism we bring to every job — it’s a tribute to the world I’ve lived in for most of my adult life. This company stands as a continuation of that commitment: showing up when needed, doing the job right, and leaving things better than we found them.

Service runs deep in my family, too. My father and oldest son are both Army veterans, and my niece serves Johnston County as a paramedic. In 2015, I founded a nonprofit called Operation Fly Our Flag to honor those who serve or have served — our military veterans and first responders — because I believe that kind of sacrifice deserves to be recognized and remembered.
